The Royal "We"


Farbov Tech is Doug, Doug is me. I am a computer repair technician who has been A+ Certified and has over a decade of computer repair experiance. Having started as a computer repair technician at London Drugs in 2012 and eventually branching out to work at Shopify for awhile (Made this site myself!) I have decided it is time to start working for myself. Having no desire to go into managment for a company I don't have any say in, and at the limits on what I can do as a residential customer facing technician it was time.

I am known for going above and beyond, doing little things during repairs that most techs would (and have said) that customers wouldn't notice and are a waste of time. I feel it is my duty as the tech expert to do those things, will you notice? Maybe not. But doing the little things like disabling your browsers notification system to prevent scams, installing ad blockers to also prevent scams, making sure your system is set to English Canada so things are spelt correctly, making sure bitlocker is only enabled after informed consent so you don't risk losing data if your machine needs repair. These are things that you might not notice but will effect you in the positive.

I don't have a storefront yet but that is the goal one day. For now I work from home as well as on site to do repairs or just teach you what you would like to know.
